InvestDat is a personal finance planning tool. It helps you explore hypothetical investment growth, run impulse-purchase cool-down timers, and get reminders before subscriptions or free trials end.

The App may offer a free trial period, after which continued access requires a paid subscription purchased through Google Play. Pricing, trial length, and renewal terms are shown in the App and on Google Play before you subscribe.

We do not require you to create an account. We do not collect your name, email address, or phone number through the App.

The App:

• Stores your calculations and reminders on your device only
• May use the internet to download fonts, verify subscription status, and load Google Play billing services
• Schedules local notifications on your device (for Subminder reminders) if you grant permission
• Lets you share results using your device's share menu (you choose where to send them)

The App does not display advertisements, connect to banks, or execute real trades. App subscription payments are processed by Google Play, not by us directly.

3.1 Information you provide

You may enter information in the App, such as:

• Product or purchase names
• Amounts and values (e.g. purchase price, subscription cost)
• Investment assumptions (years, return rates, deductions)
• Subscription or trial end dates
• Impulse-purchase ratings and timer-related details

This information is used only to provide App features (calculations, saved items, reminders). It is not sent to our servers.

3.2 Information stored on your device

We use local storage on your device (SharedPreferences) to save:

• Saved investment calculations
• Impulse timer entries
• Subscription/trial reminders (Subminder), including name, cost, and end date

This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.

3.3 Information collected automatically

Fonts (Google Fonts)

The App may download font files from Google servers via the google_fonts package. When fonts are fetched, Google may receive standard request data (e.g. IP address, device/browser type).

Notifications (Android)

If you use Subminder, the App schedules local reminders on your device (e.g. 1 day and 6 hours before a subscription ends). Notification content is based on data you entered and is processed on your device. We do not receive notification data on our servers.

The App may request notification and alarm-related permissions so reminders can be delivered reliably, including after device restart.

Sharing (optional)

If you use the share feature, you choose an app or service to receive a shared image (e.g. messaging or social apps). We do not receive or store what you share.

Links (optional)

The Credits section may open external links (e.g. LinkedIn, website, email). Those services have their own privacy policies.

Subscriptions and purchases (Google Play)

If you start a free trial or purchase a subscription, Google Play processes the payment and manages billing. We do not receive or store your full payment card or bank details.

Google may provide us with limited purchase-related information needed to unlock paid features, such as:

• Whether a subscription or free trial is active, expired, or cancelled
• Product or subscription identifier
• Purchase date and renewal status (as made available by Google Play)

We use this only to determine whether you have access to paid App features. For how Google handles payment and account data, see:

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in Google Play: Play Store → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions.

3.4 What we do not collect

Through our own App code, we do not collect:

• Names, email addresses, or phone numbers
• Bank account, card, or payment credentials (payments are handled by Google Play; we do not receive your full payment details)
• Government IDs
• Precise GPS location (we do not request location permission)
• Contacts, photos (except what you choose to share), microphone, or camera
• Real brokerage, trading, or cryptocurrency activity

We do not use our own analytics, crash reporting, advertising SDKs, or social login in the current version of the App.

We use information only to:

• Run investment projection and comparison features
• Save and display your saved calculations
• Operate impulse timers and subscription reminders (Subminder)
• Verify subscription and free-trial status so we can provide paid features
• Remember your preferences on your device
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information.

If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, we rely on:

• Contract — to provide the App you requested
• Legitimate interests — to operate the App and ensure security
• Consent — where required for optional features such as notifications (you can withdraw via device settings)

We do not share your App-entered data with third parties for marketing.

Limited sharing may occur only through:

• Google (Fonts, Play Billing) — as described above, for fonts and in-app subscription purchases
• Apps you choose — if you use the share feature
• Legal requirements — if we must disclose information to comply with law or protect rights, users, or the public

We may add service providers later (e.g. hosting for this policy page). If we do, we will update this policy.

• On-device data: Until you delete individual items in the App, clear app data, or uninstall the App
• Subscription status: As needed to provide access to paid features; purchase records are primarily retained by Google Play according to Google's policies
• Font request data: Retained by Google according to Google's policies, not controlled by us

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the App, contact us at namaninpak@gmail.com and we will take appropriate steps.

We use reasonable measures to protect information within our control. Because most data stays on your device, you are responsible for securing your device (screen lock, backups, etc.). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Font providers may process technical request data in countries other than yours (including the United States). By using the App, you understand that such processing may occur.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data.

• App data: Delete items in the App, clear storage, or uninstall to remove on-device data
• Subscriptions: Cancel or manage your subscription in Google Play (Settings → Payments and subscriptions). Cancelling stops future charges; access may continue until the end of the current billing period or free trial, as shown by Google Play
• Notifications: Disable in Android settings or decline permission when prompted

California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA. Contact us for requests.

InvestDat may offer a free trial for a limited time. After the trial ends, you must subscribe through Google Play to keep using paid features (or the full App, depending on how we configure access). You will see the trial length, price, and billing interval before you confirm.

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date shown in Google Play
• You are charged through your Google Play account
• Refunds are handled according to Google Play's refund policies
• We may change subscription pricing or features; where required, Google Play will notify you before changes take effect

Subminder reminders inside the App (for your Netflix-style subscriptions) are separate from the InvestDat app subscription you buy on Google Play.

InvestDat provides hypothetical calculations and reminders for personal planning only. It is not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Projections use assumptions you enter and may not reflect real results. The App does not connect to financial institutions or execute transactions.

This policy applies to the App. Our website and external links (e.g. LinkedIn) have their own privacy practices.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
